Stela Antonopoulou has graduated from Department of Physiotherapy (University of West Attica) and has been practicing physiotherapy since 2012.
She continued her education in the UK, on manual therapy of the peripheral joints and spine, obtaining the postgraduate degree “Master of Science in Advancing Practice Physiotherapy” in 2015 (School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Science, University of Birmingham).
Then, her special interest in Women’s Health Physiotherapy and pelvic floor dysfunctions, motivated her to specialize in evaluation and rehabilitation of urinary incontinence in 2018 (Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynecological Physiotherapy, CSP).
She has also been trained in Clinical Pilates, sports injuries and taping techniques by internationally recognized specialists.
She worked in the UK in a private clinic recognized for its experience in musculoskeletal problems, soft tissue, nerve and joint dysfunctions.
Having gained additional experience collaborating with several private Physiotherapy clinics in Athens, she is now the owner and scientific manager of her own practice VIVERE in Maroussi, specializing in Musculoskeletal Disorders, Therapeutic Exercise and Gynecological Physiotherapy. Her basic approach is the individualized, high-quality treatment, based on the latest scientific data (evidence based practice) and the bio-psycho-social model, aiming at holistic care and relief a patient from pain.
Finally, she is member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP), the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Panhellenic Association of Physiotherapists.
