The course is addressed to Physiotherapists and other Health Professionals.

Course language will be Greek.

LLLC, EPIMORFOSIS intends to organize the Basic Seminar (Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) of the method of Dr. Vodder in collaboration with the center O.Ed.E.M.A. with professor Evripidis Triantafyllou.

The Basic Seminar lasts 5 days and will be held  in Thessaloniki.

The cost of the seminar is 650€.

The cost includes the dressing material that you will use in this and in all subsequent seminars, worth 180€ (courtesy of the company BSN – JOBST®.

The amount of 250€ must be prepaid for the finalization of the participation.

The remaining amount of 400€ must be deposited at least two days before the start of the seminar.

For the completion of the method, 3 more 5-day seminars are provided (Therapy 1, Therapy 2).

Those who attend the basic seminar can continue their training if they wish to do so in the other seminars.

The dressing material will be delivered to you on the 1st day of the seminar.

The therapists will be fully certified in all of the different techniques of MLD / CDT.
Each participant will be trained in the four components of the Complete Decongestive Therapy and will know how to manage lymphedema and lymphostatic edema.
Upon completion of the class, each participant will have gained competence in the technical skills of Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD), bandaging, specific exercises in the decongestion process and in the fitting of compression stockings. They will also know how to apply these techniques in a convenient, effective way to the different forms of patient swelling. Furthermore the therapist will understand the medical indications and the contraindications of MLD and the bandaging.
In this workshop participants will be trained in the application of lymphatic drainage based on the principles of the method of Dr. Vodder. The anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology of the lymphatic system will help us to understand the creation of different types of lymphoedema.

1. A certificate of attendance, a degree or a diploma will be issued.
2. Printed handouts are provided (notes or relevant book).
3. In case of cancellation of the seminar due to EPIMORFOSIS’s responsibility, deposited fees will be refunded immediately.
4. EPIMORFOSIS reserves the right to change the date or postopone  seminars, informing participants by phone and / or sms & e-mail. In such a  case participants are entitled to request full refund of their fees if they do not wish to attend the seminar on the new date or to use this amount for their participation in other seminars or services of the company.
5. In the event of a strike, government’s bans, heavy bad weather, and generally any event beyond the reasonable control of the organisers  which impedes the execution of part or all of the seminar, the organizers reserve the right to change the date and time of the event.
