Summary
This 3- day Clinical Pilates course will introduce Zoe Queally’s Fisioplus Pilates concepts onto the reformer. As you will be aware, the Pilates Reformer is a popular piece of studio equipment designed by Joseph Pilates. It is an excellent tool to use within the clinical environment as it makes many exercises more intuitive to the client which in turn, if taught well, facilitates the correction of faulty movement patterns which are the causes of dysfunction and pain.
Throughout the three days you will learn a selection of reformer exercises that can efficiently correct the most common causes of pain and problems that you will see in your physiotherapy clinic. You will learn how to assess your patient’s movement, identify the key movement errors, then understand how to use these reformer exercises to correct the problem.
It is highly recommended that you have at least tried the reformer and have had some Pilates sessions yourself prior to attending this course. The course content will be aimed at the clinical application of Pilates reformer exercises for the client, not an introduction to the equipment itself.
The Reformer
The Pilates reformer is a bed-frame on which there is a moving flat platform called a carriage. The carriage has resistance springs that can be adapted to each exercise and client. There is also a foot bar that can be moved and straps with handles. Due to the versatility of the reformer, exercise variations are almost infinite.
The reformer offers an intuitive, low impact form of exercise which can be helpful in the treatment of multiple pathologies that will be discussed throughout the course including:-
• Low Back Pain and sciatica
• Neck pain
• Shoulder pain including instability and impingement syndromes
• Hip, knee and foot problems with particular reference to biomechanical causes
The clinical application of Pilates on the reformer for all of the above complaints will be considered throughout this 3-day course. Considerations for personalizing the exercises to the individual client will also be discussed and shown throughout the course using the Fisioplus Pilates Formula:
Assessment →Treat with Pilates → Reassess
The reformer can be used for all clients, regardless of their former condition providing they can get on and off the equipment.
The breakdown and subsequent build up and progressions of the exercise will be shown as appropriate.
All exercises are taught with clinical considerations in mind so you will be able to help your patients immediately on Monday morning.

Pilates Reformer – Clinical course – Zoe Queally Concept – ΑΘΗΝΑ 2024
€200.00 – €480.00
Training, a steady value for more than twenty years now, leads physiotherapy and keeps it at a very high level, well done to George Karambalis and his associates, we owe a lot to all of you.
EPIMORFOSIS organizes specialization seminars for rehabilitation professionals. I’ve watched a lot. I strongly recommend you trust EPIMORFOSIS for your specialization and lifelong information.
EPIMORFOSIS justifies its name by providing high quality courses. George Karampalis operates more like a constant “trainee” and less like an entrepreneur, and this is an additional positive fact in the effort that is put by the workers and teachers of EPIMORFOSIS.
I have known George Karampalis and EPIMORFOSIS for many years. I’ve had the opportunity to join several clinical courses and I can argue that, at the level of organisation and selection of trainers, they have a high level of recognised prestige.
My first steps in professional specialization started with EPIMORFOSIS and continue. It has been with us all these years, covering the need for modern and documented knowledge, in collaboration with internationally acclaimed educational institutions.
The best physiotherapists training institution. It enables the development of the necessary knowledge for clinical reasoning. High-quality training without having to travel abroad.
