The course is addressed in Physical Therapists, Medical Doctors and other Health Professionals.

Course language will be English with simultaneous translation to Greek.

LLLC, EPIMORFOSIS intends to organize a seminar on the PNF Method with Professor Beate Selker.

The seminar lasts 10 days and will take place in Athens, in two parts:

Basic 1: 19 – 23 January 2024
Basic 2: 26- 30 July 2024

The cost of the seminar is 880€.

To complete your participation, the amount of 300€ must be prepaid.

The remaining amount of 580€ should be deposited in 2 equal installments of 290€, at least two days before the beginning of each part of the seminar.

P.N.F. Method

I.P.N.F.A. provides 5 levels of knowledge for the completion of the learning process:

A. Basic 1 & 2 (10 days) B. Advanced 3 (5 days) C. Advanced 3b (5 days) D. Advanced 4 (5 days) E. Advanced 5 (5 days)

Every level (except from Basic I) consists of 4 hours patients demonstration (two participants per one patient).

The PROPRIOCEPTIVE NEUROMUSCULAR FACILITATION – P.N.F is one of the most famous and most important methods used by physiotherapists for rehabilitation of diseases and injuries of both nervous and musculoskeletal system.

The application of the diagonal pattern of PNF in order to facilitate muscle contraction, the application of strengthening and relaxation techniques of muscles, the application of mobilization and stabilization techniques of these joints as well as the techniques to improve balance and muscle synergy, bring maximum operating results.

In 1946 the method started from KABAT – KAISER Institute and continued with the cooperation of VOSS – KNOTT (1952 – 1963), in ADLER till today.

The method was developed and updated and became fully accepted for its result in the treatment of neurological, orthopedics and rheumatological patients.

Since then, the method has been widely taught in physiotherapists all over the world.
