Experience Summary

Emma Holly established the largest and most successful educational training company, Restore Therapy, offering scar tissue therapy courses. Launching in 2017, we have trained over 2,000 therapists in-person globally and many more have enrolled onto the advanced online theory course. Emma and her team of tutors have been teaching physiotherapists, lymphoedema therapists, massage therapists and other manual therapists’ techniques to support recovery after surgery or injury.
Emma has presented at UK and international conferences, updating physiotherapists, sports therapists, clinical nurse specialists and cosmetic and breast surgeons on the topic of scar massage and self-scar care.
Charitable work has been a big part of Emma’s career, she organised over 550 therapy treatments for Invictus Games participants since 2018, supporting UK’s largest ever disability event with a team of scar therapists in Sheffield in 2019. Emma has also supported the establishment of scar clinics in many major cancer centres around the UK including Barts Hospital Trust, The Royal Marsden Trust, The Dimbleby Centre and many more. Restore Therapy is currently supporting the charity Dans Fund for Burns providing volunteers to offer scar massage at their annual retreat for burn survivors.
